We believe strongly in our commitment to corporate citizenship and to that end have adopted the 1-1-1 model of corporate philanthropy.
Pioneered by salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM), the idea behind the 1-1-1 model is to harness the power of a company’s resources, such as the financial resources, equity and employee time to improve communities around the world. To coordinate this effort, inFactor has established the inFactor Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving as a clearinghouse for opportunities for philanthropy.
Following the 1-1-1 model, inFactor pledges to donate:
1% CORPORATE PROFITS – inFactor will be donating one percent of the company’s annual profit to the Foundation to support donations to deserving causes and charitable organizations.
1% EQUITY – inFactor will donate one percent of the outstanding common stock of the company to the Foundation to support long-term giving projects.
1% EMPLOYEE TIME – inFactor employees receive two and a half paid days off each year to volunteer in the communities where they live and work. Through the Foundation, inFactor will be developing partnerships with charitable organizations in all of the communities in which inFactor employees live to help connect employees and opportunities for service.
The 1-1-1 model has been adopted by several technology leaders, including: Appirio, Atlassian, GetFeedback, Google, Splunk, VMware and Workday, among others.
